"I've been preparing this rice dish for dinner parties and it has been very well received. It's a delicious, colorful rice dish with a lovely aroma of lemon spice that everyone - young and not so young - will definitely enjoy."

  1. Put the water in a medium-sized pot and add olive oil (or preferably olive oil from the sun-dried tomato jar) to the water.
  2. Once the water is boiling, add the par-broiled rice. Please ensure it is par-broiled rice rather than instant rice or any other type of rice.
  3. Once the rice is well-cooked and the water has completely evaporated, add the lemon & herbs spice before adding the rest of the ingredients to the cooked rice. Please ensure it is lemon & herbs spice and not lemon pepper or any other lemon-based spice.
  4. Mix the ingredients well with the rice.
  5. At your discretion, you may want to add more lemon & herbs spice to increase the taste of the lemon and herbs spice. Serve the rice afterwards.


I used regular white rice but other than that I followed the recipe to a tee. It was colorful and flavorful. A great side to my salsa chicken! Thanks for the recipe!

I had to use lemon pepper, as I was unsure about what the lemon-herb mix might be. With an extra squeeze of lemon juice, it was great though!
