Nut Butter Sugar and Chocolate Crackers

"Super easy recipe for dessert, snack, and gift idea. We hsve a newborn baby and this was a great recipe to entertain while hosting the holidays in our home this year. My family loves it."

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Line cookie sheet with foil
  3. Spray with no stick cooking spray
  4. Lay crackers edge to edge covering foil, break to fit and fill all gaps
  5. In small combine butter and nut butter, microwave for 2 minutes checking to avoid splattering. Stir until fully melted and creamy
  6. Add brown sugar and stir to blend. Microwave for 3 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Pour hot blend over crackers evenly. Gently spread over entire sheet with spoon being careful to keep crackers flat.
  8. Bake for 5 minutes.
  9. Remove and sprinkle with chocolate chips, wait 5 minutes then spread over enire sheet with spoon
  10. Allow to cool overnight. Lift off of foil and break crackers apart. Store in sealed container, great for gifts and snacks. Can freeze and thaw again to room temperature.
