Slow Cooker Italian Sausage & Cabbage

"This is a good dish to serve on a cold day when the family has been out and about. It is both filling and full of taste. Our family likes it on weekends when we can enjoy the aroma for a few hours before time to eat. For those who like a little extra kick, hot Italian sausage can be substituted for the sweet sausage."
