  1. Cut the bread into 1" slices and place in a baking dish coated with butter. Mix eggs, half and half, melted icecream, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon in a large bowl until fluffy. Pour mixture over bread evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  2. For topping:
  3. Mix all of the ingredients well and refrigerate.
  4. In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place topping in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften. Spread over each piece of bread. Bake for 40min.
  5. Serve with powdered sugar and syrup if desired.
