Grilled asparagus


"Whenever I grill for other people, I always like to give them a little appetizer. This is one of the quickest and easiest (and tastiest) appetizers you can make on the grill. My friend Kojak showed this to me at a cook off at his cigar club, and I've made them ever since."

  1. Trim the ends off of the asparagus, and rinse.
  2. Drizzle enough olive oil on the asparagus to give it a nice coat.
  3. Sprinkle on seasoning to taste.
  4. Put them on the grill for 3-5 minutes, or until they're tender, longer if you want them a little crispy.
