  1. Beat the butter and salt on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Reduce speed to low, gradually add the confectioners sugar and beat until incorporated. Add the vanilla extract, vanilla bean seeds, and milk and beat just until smooth and creamy. Overbeating will result in too much air in frosting. Add additional milk if needed for the right spreadable consistency.
