Original recipe yields 4 servings

  1. Heat 1/4 cup olive oil in skillet.
  2. Wisk eggs together. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs with about 1 teaspoon each black pepper, cumin, chili powder, thyme, and garlic powder.
  4. Slice seitan into desired size. Dip each piece into the egg mixture, then coat with bread crumbs. Arrange each coated slice of seitan in skillet heated with oil.
  5. Flip seitan when the underside if crispy, and allow to cook until crispy on each side.
  6. Enjoy with rice, pasta, or vegetables!
