  1. Preheat oven to 325F
  2. Line cookie sheets with non-stick foil or parchment paper
  3. Cream butter and add sugar, vanilla and water
  4. Sift flour and salt together and blend into butter mixture
  5. Add pecans, mix well
  6. Using portions about the size or a large walnut roll into crecent shapes
  7. Bake at 325F for 20 min or until top of cookies are light brown
  8. While cookies are slightly warm(NOT HOT)-roll in confectonary sugar
