  1. In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Mix in oats.
  3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven until lightly browned on top. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
