Cook rice. Combine onion, broccoli, oleo, water, salt and pepper in saucepan. Bring to boil. Add cheese, soup and rice. Pour in casserole dish and back at 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
Footnote: I found that 3 cups of rice was to much for my taste so I would use 2 cups instead and atleast that way if it's not enough you can just make more instead of having a dry casserole dish. Or decrease the time it bakes in the oven.
