Kasha and Bowties (aka Kasha Varnishkas)

  1. 1)Prepare Noodles according to package.
  2. 2) Prepare Kasha (double the recipe and use the whole box) according to directions but substitute chicken broth for water. If you don't have enough broth- use water to fill in the difference. Set aside.
  3. 3) Saute onions in oil until lightly brown.
  4. Toss Kasha, bowties & onions together and serve hot.
