Custard Bread Pudding


"I recieved this recipe from my husband's aunt who has been serving this at her resturant for years. Great for people who don't like "bready" things, because it has more custard than bread."

  1. Preheat oven to 300.
  2. Blend half & half, sugar, salt, vanilla, and eggs in blender.
  3. Lay bread in 9x13 in. pan, sprinkle with cinnamon and raisins to taste.
  4. Pour custard over bread.
  5. Set pan in water bath, and bake for 1 and 1/2 hours. Serve warm or cold.
