  1. -sautee onions, carrots, garlic and celery
  2. in pot on medium low until almost cooked
  3. -add the cumin and cayenne pepper.
  4. -cook for about 1 minute.
  5. -add the chicken broth to the mixutre
  6. -turn heat up to medium and simmer
  7. -add one large can of black beans
  8. -puree the second can of black beans in a blender and then add to the soup. simmer on medium for about 30 minutes.
