  1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
  2. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  3. Pour batter into two greased 9-inch round pans.
  4. Bake and cool cake according to package directions.
  5. While cake bakes, melt peanut butter chips and 1/2 cup of whipping cream in saucepan over low heat.
  6. Remove pan from heat; allow to cool to room temperature.
  7. Meanwhile, beat remaining whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. Stir 1/3 whipped cream into peanut butter mixture; fold the rest of the whipped cream into mixture. Set aside.
  9. Melt butter in saucepan; stir in cocoa and water. Continue stirring over medium low heat until mixture is smooth and thickened.
  10. Stir in vanilla and powdered sugar.
  11. Drizzle 1/3 of the glaze over bottom layer of the cooled cake.
  12. Spread half of peanut butter cream over bottom layer of cake.
  13. Place top cake layer, then spread remaining peanut butter cream over top of cake.
  14. Drizzle remaining cocoa glaze over top of cake; allow it to run down the sides.
  15. Optional: Garnish with more mini chocolate chips.
