"This is my very own creation. I grew up in a Italian home and spaghetti was always on the menu. I wanted my children to be able to also have this experience, but now I was the mom having to make it. Now it is much easier and quicker. Grama, please forgive me."

  1. Bring large pot of water to boil. Add some salt and pasta. Boil for as long as directed.
  2. Add olive oil to large hot skillet. Add onion, garlic and cook until translucent. Add ground turkey, salt and pepper and cook until browned. Add dried parsley, oregano and basil.
  3. Optional: In a blender or food processor; while meat is browning, add Italian stewed tomatoes and blend until desired consistency.
  4. When turkey is done browning, add all tomato products and water. Simmer over medium-high heat until pasta is done. Strain pasta and serve with sauce.
