  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Slice French bread horizontal. Drizzle Olive Oil and sprinkle Oregano on both sides of loaf.
  2. Build each sandwich by placing sliced mozzarella on both sides of loaves. On one side add sliced onions, green peppers and then tomatoes. On the other side of bread, add the salami. You can add an additional slice of mozzarella for slippage.
  3. Place the sandwiches on a sheet pan lined with foil and place in the oven. Cook the sandwiches until the cheese melts, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and press the two halves together and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Cut sandwich about 3-4 inches. Makes about four-six sandwiches.
