honey teriyaki marinade

J. Wolff

"A quick n' easy, sweet n' tangy marinade that works well with a variety of meats. I love to use it on salmon, chicken and shrimp! And if you don't use it all, the marinade stores well in the refrigerator in a sealed container."

  • Prep

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce and honey until smooth (this works best if you've warmed the container of honey in some warm water for 30-45 seconds)
  2. Add the ginger, sesame oil, garlic powder and sesame seeds, blending until well mixed.
  3. Marinate your meat of choice for a minimum of 30 minutes in an airtight container, turning occasionally. (Though it works best if marinated longer, like overnight)
