  1. Cut 15 large marshmallows in fourths, then place in freezer.
  2. In large bowl, cut butter into chocolate chips.
  3. In your largest pot, place remaining 25 marshmallows, evaporated milk, and sugar.
  4. Bring to boil.
  5. Boil rapidly for five minutes.
  6. Pour hot mixture over butter and chocolate chips.
  7. Stir mixture until very thick and cooled, at least fifteen minutes. (It is helpful to place bowl inside a bowl of ice to speed up this process.)
  8. Stir in frozen marshmallows and pecans.
  9. Pat mixture into a buttered 8x12 baking dish.
  10. Refridgerate until firm.
