  1. Brown off the meat in a large, deep pan, for around 5 minutes.
  2. Chop the onion finely and fry for 3 minutes, in seasoned oil, do this in a separate pan.
  3. Add the onion to the browned meat, and heat those for 3 minutes.
  4. After the 3 minutes, all other ingredients, except for potatoes, and bring to the boil.
  5. Chop the potatos into three, by cutting off the top 1/3, and then half the rest, add those and then leave to simmer, stirring every now and then.
  6. Leave for a 40 minute minimum, the longer the better (within reason)
