  1. Mix thoroughly, ΒΌ c soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion and pepper. Shape into six patties. In a skillet, brown using butter, if necessary. Pour off fat. Stir in remaining soup and water. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, or until done. Stir occasionally. Note: Usually the longer it gets a change to simmer, the yummier the meat gets.
