  1. Remove sausage casings and slice into 1/2 inch chunks.
  2. Brown sausage on high heat (thorough cooking not necessary).
  3. Pat between paper towels to remove excess fat.
  4. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into 1" cubes.
  5. In a slow cooker, combine sausage, sweet potatoes, chicken broth, jerk marinade, garlic, thyme and cinnamon; cook on high for 3 hours.
  6. Add black beans and reduce heat to low for 2 hours.
