  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. While spaghetti is cooking, saute onion and garlic in melted butter until onions are transparent. Stir in parsley. Drain noodles; pour butter mixture over noodles and stir to coat. Serve immediately. Sprinkle with Parmesan or Romano cheese if desired.
