  1. Put the pork cubes in a large ziplock bag and sprinkle with 1 tb chili powder. Shake until all pieces are covered evenly. Brown the pork in lard or any kind of oil.
  2. Place chopped onion, pork, garlic, green chili sauce, jalapenos and broth in crockpot. Sprinkle the remaining chili powder and mix all well. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  3. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper, brown in butter. Add to stew and cook for an additional 2 hours on high, or 3 on low.
