Easy Mac and Veggies


"This recipe is my preferred alternative to macaroni and cheese. I usually buy the cheap mac and cheese dinners, then throw away the cheese packet so I can make this!"

  1. Bring about two quarts of lightly salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the frozen veggies to the boiling water, and boil for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the macaroni, and boil for an additional 7-10 minutes until noodles are the desired consistency.
  4. Take the pot off the heat and drain.
  5. Place the margarine in a large bowl, and pour the noodles and vegetables into the bowl over the margarine, then immediately stir until they are coated with margarine.
  6. Add salt and pepper, and stir again.
  7. Your meal is ready to eat, serve, or store. Enjoy!
