"I used to enjoy Hamburger Helper Beef Noodles but always thought I could make it cheaper from scratch so I made my own recipe for it. It's easy to make & delicious and what is more important than what I think of it, my children & grandchildren love it."

  1. Boil noodles (or any shape pasta you desire) according to package directions. Drain & set aside.
  2. While noodles are boiling, brown ground beef in a skillet just until meat is no longer pink then drain off grease.
  3. Combine the cooked noodles with the ground beef.
  4. Cook beef gravy according to package directions until it is of desired consistency. (I use a wire whisk for this.)
  5. If desired, add sliced mushrooms & cream of mushroom soup to the gravy & cook until mushrooms are tender.
  6. Add gravy mixture to the noodles & ground beef mixture. Mix well.
  7. Serve with fresh baked bread & vegetables of your choice.
