3)Combine the flours, baking power, baking soda, salt into a bowl
4)In a large bowl cream the butter flavored Crisco and brown sugar. Beat in the eggs. Beat in the milk and vanilla extract. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips.
5)Spread the dough evenly in the prepared cookie sheet. If using nuts you can spread the nuts on top of the dough (you can spread the nuts on either all of the dough or as much of the dough as you desire). Use something to press the nuts into the dough, this is so the nuts will not fall off after baking.
6)Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown on top
7)Allow to cool in the sheet on a wire rack before cutting into bars. You can cut the bars any size you desire.
