Butterscotch Delight Cake

"This cake is so moist and with the butterscotch morsels mixed into the batter, it a sweet surprise when you bite into it. the glaze is just the best on top of this cake as well. Serve for dessert or at an afternoon brunch."

  1. mix pudding and cake mixes together.
  2. add oil and butter, mixing until incorporated.
  3. add sour cream, mix well.
  4. add eggs, one at a time.
  5. add vanilla.
  6. mix in the butterscotch morsels.
  7. bake in a well greased bundt pan for 1 hour and 15 min at 325 degrees.
  8. check cake after one hour.
  9. For Glaze:
  10. in a saucepan, heat butter until melted.
  11. stir in brown sugar and vanilla.
  12. heat through until sugar dissolves and mix becomes thickened.
  13. Pour over cooled cake.
  14. Serve once glaze has set.

Great Cake!! Yummy and moist. My daughter has an allergy to chocolate and this made a great birthday cake. Next time I'm going to try changing it up with vanilla yoghurt rather than sour cream.
