Biddies in a Bag

TWONAUGHT7

"A friend just emailed this to me, so I'm not sure exactly where it originated. I am sure, however, that it sounds like one of the neatest breakfast ideas around today. Sure to be a family gathering favorite! Prep time represents time it takes to prepare ingredients for omelets. Allow guests to make their own custom omelets, adding whatever they like - salsa, mushrooms, green pepper, onions - the possibilities are endless! Two eggs per serving."

  1. Give each guest a quart-sized Ziplock freezer bag and have each write his name on the bag with a permanent marker.
  2. Next, give each guest two eggs and allow each to crack the eggs into his bag, zip the bag and shake to mix.
  3. Next, each guest will add the ingredients for his or her omelet - ham, cheese, salsa - whatever!!
  4. Drop 6-8 bags into a large pot of boiling, rolling water. Let boil for 13 minutes.
  5. Remove bags from water and watch each amazed guest roll out his or her custom omelet.
  6. Fresh fruit and coffee cake will finish off the meal.
