  1. Measure the first 4 ingredients into a bowl, sift well together.
  2. Cut in shortening with a knife, mixing until crumbly.
  3. sprinkle your water in evenly while mixing with a fork. If too dry a small ammount of extra water may be added but the less used the better.
  4. Kneed pastery in the bowl until well mixed. Halve the pastery mix & form first half into a pie crust for your pie plate.
  5. Add filling of your choice & then use remaining pastery ball to form top crust of your pie. Sprinkle a generous ammount of white sugar on top for extra sweetness.
  6. If a single cooked shell is wanted then half your recipie & use entire ball in pie plate. Place in pre-heated oven for ten minutes until golden brown.
