  1. Put the corned beef into the slow cooker.
  2. Add the onion, garlic cloves, and corned beef seasoning packet.
  3. Pour the beer over all and cover.
  4. Cook on high 5-6 hours, until fork tender.
  5. Remove the corned beef, wrap in foil, and keep in a warm oven.
  6. Add the cabbage and carrots to the slow cooker and cook on high for an hour, or until the cabbage is done to your liking.
  7. The corned beef can be added back into the slow cooker and set on low or warm until you are ready to eat.
  8. Slice and Enjoy!
