  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In large skillet melt 2 Tbsp. of margarine.
  3. Add hashbrowns and onion.
  4. Saute until potatoes are lightly browned.
  5. In a medium saucepan melt remaining 3 Tbsp. of margarine.
  6. Blend in flour to make a paste.
  7. Add milk gradually, blending well.
  8. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
  9. Add cheese, mustard, and spices, stirring until smooth.
  10. Add pineapple, ham, and potato mixture, mixing well.
  11. Turn into a greased 2 qt. casserole.
  12. Bake for 30 minutes.
