  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Prepare chips by putting in a plastic bag and crushed them with a rolling pin.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla. Fold in flour and crushed potato chips and blend until smooth
  4. and mixture holds together.
  5. Form into l inch balls. Press onto a very lightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Using a drinking glass, dipped in sugar, press cookies gently to flatten. Re-dip glass in sugar as needed. Bake for 10-13 minutes - or until they turn golden around the edges.
