"This recipe was given to me by my best friends mother who has now passed away from cancer. It's a lovely winter curry and very easy to make. It's not too spicy so it is suitable for children to eat. All measurements are in Australian Standard nmeasurements."
cook sausagesin a fry pan and cool to one side. Cook potatoes and carrots in a saucepan (keep water). Melt butter in frypan. Fry onion. Add chicken stock and curry powder. Add cut sausages and vegetables. Add 1- 2 cups of water. Add jam and salt and pepper. Bring to the boil. Lower heat and simmer until sauce thickens. Serve with rice.
