In a large skillet and over medium high heat, melt the butter in the olive oil. Stir in the garlic, onion, and bell pepper slices. Saute for 1 minute. Add the juice of one lemon, white wine, salt, cayenne and shrimp. Simmer for 8 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink. Add the bell pepper slices and stir together for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve the Pepper Shrimp Scampi over cooked pasta. Top with lemon curls.
