"A delicious, chocolaty twist on the traditional Russian Tea Cake recipe. My daughter always loves to help bake (and eat) these."

  1. • Mix ingredients (butter through salt – except the pecans) until thoroughly blended, then add pecans. Shape the dough into a large ball and refrigerate.
  2. • Preheat oven to 400°
  3. • Roll dough into 1” balls, place on cookie sheet and flatten with thumb, leaving an indentation in the middle, so they are "nest-shaped"
  4. • Fill each next with 1 tsp. of chocolate chips.
  5. • Bake 10-12 minutes (cookies will not brown!)
  6. • Cool on wire rack and enjoy!
