Best Little Smokies Ever


"These were always made around the holiday's in my household. I double the original recipe and make these for potlucks and for Super Bowl parties. They are always the first to go! These are also great to do in a slow cooker."

  1. In a large saucepan, over medium-low heat, combine: ketchup, white vinegar, dark brown sugar, yellow mustard, ground cloves and ground cinnamon. Mix well and heat for 5 minutes, or until sauce is warmed through.
  2. Add the Little Smokies (drain out the liquid from packages) and continue to simmer on medium-low heat until the Little Smokies are heated through, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve with toothpicks and enjoy.
  4. *Usually when I make these up, I transfer them to a crockpot on low heat to keep warm. That way people can eat them throughout the big game and they won't get cold.
