Salmon Dip

"This is a pink salmon and cream cheese based dip that was passed down to me from a favorite Aunt. She brought this to every family get together I can remember, and this was always well received. I serve this with Waverly or Club crackers. This recipe can easily be multiplied for a larger crowd."

  1. Drain salmon and remove skin and bones. Mix salmon with softened cream cheese. Add the grated onion, lime juice, liquid smoke and red pepper seasoning. Mash with a potato masher until well blended and creamy. Serve with crackers.
  2. Note: When I make this for a party, I form the dip into a big ball and refrigerate it for thirty minutes. (This allows it to firm up a bit)
