Julie's Basil Pesto Sauce

"This is a fantastic garlicy pesto sauce, great served over linguine or used as a dip for warm crust bread. This makes a large amount, It freezes very well. This is the reason I grow my own basil. You can do so many variations, from adding sun dried tomatoes, to adding shrimp or chicken. We also love it spread on sandwiches with mozerella and fresh tomatoes."
