  1. Preheat grill on low heat about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, rinse chicken and pat dry. Empty 1/4 of beer out of can; place on plate. Arrange chicken onto beer can. The legs and can will make it stand on it's own. Season very generously with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and Mrs. Dash. Make sure chicken is well seasoned all around.Remove upper grills of barbecue pit. Place chicken on bottom grill. Cover and cook 1 1/2 hours or until nicely browned and skin is a little crispy.
