  1. Fry the chopped onions in butter in a skillet over low heat until onions are limp and slightly browned. In a large bowl, blend noodles, sour cream, and cottage cheese.
  2. In a small bowl beat eggs with the salt and pepper. Add to the noodle/cheese mixture.
  3. Add the onions and mix well. Pour into a greased 13x9 inch metal or glass baking pan and place in a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake for 45-60 minutes until browned on top.
