  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together margarine and sugars. Add pudding and mix well. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, salt, and baking soda, mix well. Incorporate chocolate chips. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes (until edges begin to brown). Remove from oven and allow to rest on cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes. Remove to wax paper to cool. Keep in airtight container--the pudding makes them go stale faster (the only downside to the recipe).
