Mike's Steak Marinade

Stefanie W 1

"This recipe was given to me about 8 years by a former nail client. I didn't think anything of it until I figured I would try it for a barbecue. This is MY FAVORITE marinade for steak and can't eat steak plain ever again!"

  1. In the Ziploc bag, combine garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, soy sauce, water, pepper, olive oil and tabasco sauce. Stir together with spoon (or zip and shake gently. Before adding meat, taste marinade - if it's a little too salty, add a little bit more water - before adding meat, poke a few holes in the meat with a fork to ensure the marinade to get into the meat. Marinate at least 6 hours. It's best if you marinate overnight. Remember the longer it marinates, the stronger the flavor of the marinade - so adjust it to your taste. Once marinade is complete, grill the meat on a barbecue grill according to how you like it cooked.
