  1. Sift flour and mix with rest of dry ingredients. In separate bowl, cream butter and gradually add sugar until light and fluffy. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each, then add vanilla.
  2. Gradually add flour mixture and then refrigerate dough for 3-4 hours.
  3. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and shape with cookie cutters.
  4. Bake at 375 on ungreased cookie sheet for 6-8 minutes. Cookies should not be brown.
  5. Decorate with sprinkles or frosting.
