Delicious Easy Cream Puffs


"This is a GREAT cream puff recipe! They are filled with whipped cream and topped with chocolate. I have tried it many times and it has never failed. My family LOVES them, and whenever I take them anywhere, they get rave reviews!"

  1. 1. Heat the butter and water to a boil (make sure the butter is melted all the way) On low heat, stir in flour vigorously until it forms a ball and pulls away from the sides.
  2. 2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well until the mixture stops looking liquidy.
  3. 3. Using a cookie press with tip #31, form the cream puffs 2 to 2 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
  4. 4. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes, then reduce to 325 degrees F and bake for an additonal 20 minutes
  5. 5. As soon as the puffs come out of the oven, cut a centimeter long slit in the bottom. Using a cookie press or a pastry bag, fill the hole with whipped cream.
  6. 6. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy whipping cream until it boils. Pour over chocolate chips and stir until melted. Spoon over the cream puffs.
