Italian Breaded Chicken


"This is a quick, easy and yet delicious recipe. Chicken Breasts are dipped in melted butter, then coated with a breading which includes parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, basil, thyme, and garlic, and then baked. The chicken is always moist and flavorful. I usually serve with rice and broccoli."

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a shallow bowl (big enough to place a chicken breast in). Dip chicken breast in butter, then into breading. (I usually use a spoon to help cover breast and pat down to adhere breading to chicken) Place coated chicken in an ungreased baking dish. Repeat with remaining breasts. If there is any remaining butter and/or breading pour over chicken breasts. Bake at 350 for 30-40 min (depending on size/thickness of breasts) or until golden brown. Recipe can be doubled to suit your own needs.
