Alice's Sugar Cream Cake

"This is an extremely rich cake so a little goes a long way. It can be cut into squares as it is almost like a blond brownie with sugar cream topping. I always make these when I know there will be a crowd so I don't bring leftovers home-too fattening!"

  1. Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl beat together cake mix, butter & 2 eggs. Pat into a greased 13x9 pan. In a separate bowl beat cream cheese with 2 eggs, add all but 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Beat mixture until smooth and spread over cake mixture. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. When tested with toothpick, center will be moist. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
