"This is one of the recipes that my mother made for parties when I was growing up. Everyone always loved it and asked for it often. I know that it sounds like a strange mixture, but the cream cheese cancels out the spice of the salsa and compliments it so much! It really is delicious... I hope you enjoy!"
On a large serving tray, spread the cream cheese evenly so that it covers the surface. (Do not spread the cream cheese too thinly, but try to allow about 1/2 inch of thickness. Next, pour the salsa over top of the layer of cream cheese spreading evenly as well. Next, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the salsa so that it covers it. On the edge of the tray, place the tortillas into the cream cheese and create several rows going around the tray and toward the center. The dish is now ready to eat. Just take your tortillas and dig in!
