Summertime Lemon Chicken and Fettuccine Alfredo

  1. Add linguini to a large pot of boiling water. Cook for 10 minutes (or according to directions on box).
  2. Add chopped chicken to a skillet over medium heat and cover in lemon pepper seasonings and 1 t garlic powder. Cook until chicken is browned on the outside. Add in broccoli and onion and cook until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear, for 7-10 minutes.
  3. While linguini and chicken are cooking, in a medium saucepan mix together heavy whipping cream, lemon juice, minced garlic, garlic powder, and Italian seasonings. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and stir in 1 cup of Parmesan cheese. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes stirring constantly.
  4. Drain linguini. Mix the linguini, lemon sauce, and chicken together in a large bowl. Serve 2 lemon quarters and remaining Parmesan cheese over each serving for presentation.
