"I have tried many pie crust recipes, and I always come back to this one. Turns out perfect every time! Light and very flaky, not tough, great taste! Fits deep dish pie plates nicely. "

  1. In log. bowl, stir together flour, sugar, & salt.
  2. Cut in Crisco with pastry blender till like coarse crumbs.
  3. In Sm. bowl, whisk together vinegar,egg, and water.
  4. Sprinkle liquid mixture over flour mixture and stir til moistened and starts to form ball.
  5. Divide into 4 portions for reg. pie pans, 2 for deep dish. Shape each into flat round patties and refrig. for 1/2 hr.
  6. Roll out for desired use. Hint - I roll between 2 floured handi-wrap sheets, then just peel top layer off, place over pie plate, and slowly peel top layer off again. works great!
