Fry bacon until crisp and then crumble. While bacon is frying, tear bagels into bite sized pieces and place in bottom of 9x13 baking pan. In medium bowl beat eggs, then add half-n-half, salt, basil, tomatoes, and cheese. Mix well. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over bagel pieces then pour egg mixture over top of all, making sure liquid is evenly distributed. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Bake in preheated 350 deg. oven for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
